Keto Herbed Eggs

- 2 Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Milk
- Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- ¼ cup Chopped Mixed Fresh Herbs
- 1 Scallion chopped finely
- ½ tablespoon Butter
Instructions
- Crack the eggs into a small bowl, add the milk and whisk together. Add in mixed fresh herbs. Stir, then set aside.
- Heat a small nonstick pan over medium heat and add the butter to the pan.
- Once heated, swish the butter around the pan then pour in the egg mixture. Stir the eggs every 30 seconds until the eggs are cooked through.
- Top the eggs with the chopped scallion and salt and pepper to taste.

Milk is not keto friendly. it has sugar in it. is this accurate the recipe?
Hi Tara, you're right milk has sugar in it. However this recipe only uses 1 tablespoon which isn't enough to cause any issues 🙂 Hope that helps!

Mixed fresh herbs such as thyme, oregano, parsley, chives, sage, and basil will all work great with this recipe.
How are these cooked? There are no instructions here. Is it scrambled, fried? I see the picture of fried eggs, but why the milk? Newbie starting out here just asking questions so I can learn.
